UNCF’s 2019 Mayor’s Masked Ball
Grammy award-winning R&B soul artist Anthony Hamilton was among the many celebrities, dignitaries, civic leaders, volunteers, public officials, alumni at the Sheraton Hotel Ballroom in downtown for the United Negro College Fund’s 2019 Mayor’s Masked Ball.
The annual event is one of the city’s premier fundraising galas and social events that attract hundreds from all sectors to create additional funding for the UNCF’s 37 member institutions including five in Alabama: Miles College (Birmingham), Oakwood University (Huntsville), Stillman College (Tuscaloosa), Talladega College (Talladega) and Tuskegee University (Tuskegee).
This is the 75th year for the historically African-American private nonprofit organization.
