According to Dan Rather, the failure of the GOP healthcare bill is the most “staggering loss” he’s ever seen so early in a president’s term. In a Facebook post, he wrote, “Stunning. A complete defeat that I don’t think anyone would have predicted in the manner that took place. The morass of blame is only beginning.”

Trump blamed Democrats for not backing the healthcare bill after it was pulled, marking Trump’s first legislative defeat as president. I happen to think that the best thing that could ever happen for the Trump administration was for the healthcare bill to fail.

The time is now for Donald Trump to stop blaming everybody for his own failures. He blamed his staff, he blamed Paul Ryan, he blamed the Republican Party, he blames the media, and then he blamed the Democrats. Now is time for the President, along with leaders of the Republican Party, and leaders of the Democratic Party to fix whatever is wrong with the Affordable Care Act.

Man put the Affordable Care Act together, not God. Which means it is not perfect. But, it is better than everything else we have. If I were the President of the United States, I would not concentrate on building infrastructure or tax cuts. I would tackle the healthcare bill, get it passed, and prove to the world that I can govern.

If Trump could fix the healthcare bill, people would stop talking about all the groups he has alienated, his being in bed with Putin, or how many lies he has told.

There is a strong possibility that Donald Trump could go down in history as being the worst President in the history of the United States. He will always be remembered as having told the most lies.

Regardless, whether you are Democrat or Republican, you should strongly desire that the President of the United States is successful. It is better for the country for him to be successful while he is President than for him to fail.
