The Miles College Golden Voices will present its annual Christmas concert, Thursday, Dec. 1, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in Brown Hall Auditorium on the campus of Miles College.

The concert entitled, Christmas Expressions will encompass an array of music from different genres and promises to be a wonderful blend of Christmas music that will uplift and inspire. Special Guest will be David Bibbs, violist, from Alabama School of Fine Arts.  The event is free and open to the public.

Under the direction of Ms. Valerie R. Harris, the Miles College Golden Voices is one of the Premier Choirs comprised of men and women from across the nation. The choir exudes the message of culture, class and civility through many genres of music.

They have performed across the nation and in such prestigious events as The Festival of Spirituals and the National Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Gospel Competition. In addition, they were the featured choir for the 50th Anniversary of the Civil Rights Movement Celebration in Birmingham, Alabama, they performed at a Congressional Black Caucus Breakfast in Washington D. C. and recently performed with Big Sean at the UNCF Evening of Stars Program in Atlanta, Georgia.
