Quarantine Incident: 1612 17th Street S.W.
The Birmingham Police Department reports that Birmingham Fire and Rescue requested assistance in quarantining a residence at 1612 17th Street S.W. Currently the block has been closed to any traffic. There appears to be no danger to the public.
The quarantine resulted from a possible EBOLA patient at U.A.B. hospital. The EMA and CDC have been advised of the situation.
