SOFTBALL PROSPECT CAMPS BEGIN NEXT WEEKEND
The softball team will be holding several camps including a prospects camp by ASU coach Chris Steiner-Wilcoxson on Saturday, May 23 and Sunday, May 24 at the Barbara Williams Softball Complex.
The camp is open to prospective high school and junior college female student-athletes to train in a competitive environment that will prepare them for college softball at Alabama State.
Each session will cost $85.
Session I on May 23 will run from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break.
Session II on May 24 will run from noon until 6 p.m.

Steiner-Wilcoxson will also offer two four-day skills camps for all ages.
The first camp will take place Monday, June 8 through Thursday, June 11 at the Barbara Williams Softball Complex.
Objectives and features of the camp include: quality softball instruction, hitting & defensive drills , competitive scrimmages , tour of ASU athletic facilities , a parent-coach Q&A and the opportunity to meet and learn from Alabama State University coaching staff.
Registration is open until filled. Cost is $125.
It will take place from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. with lunch offered in between for a cost of $6.
The second softball skills camp will be held Monday, July 13 through Thursday, July 16 at the Barbara Williams Softball Complex
