Mrs. Mona Boysaw Jackson of Birmingham and Dr. and Mrs. Adolphus M. Jackson (Diann) of Birmingham, AL, announce the engagement of their daughter, Jasmine Patrice Jackson, to Melvin Hough II, son of Mrs. Linda Hough and the late Apostle Melvin Hough of Washington, D.C.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Erlene Boysaw and the late Mr. Algie Boysaw, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert Jackson, Sr., all of Birmingham, AL. Ms. Jackson is a graduate of John Carroll Catholic High School and Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia, where she earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. The bride is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Elder and Mrs. James Hall (Willie Mae) of Savannah, Georgia, and Mrs. Mamie Lee Hough of Washington, D.C. Mr. Hough is a graduate of De Matha Catholic High School in Washington, D.C., and Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia, where he earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology. The groom is a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated.
An April 2015 wedding is planned in Birmingham.
