Church continues its mission of equipping Christians to serve
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Sixth Avenue Baptist Church has launched a full schedule of weekly Bible Study classes for the winter that began Monday, January 26, at the church located at 1101 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. The classes are based on the theme: “Seeking God’s Will Through His Word “ and are taught by ministers and lay teachers. All classes are free and are open to the community.
On Mondays at 6 p.m. John Eppenger leads Joshua Men, a small group discipleship study for men between the ages of 18 and 40 in room 202 at the church. Another Joshua Men’s Study will be offered on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
The Mid-Day Tuesday session is a study on the book of Revelation led by Dottie Ike at 11 a.m. in the Church Chapel.
Mid-Day study also is offered at 11 a.m. on Thursdays, with Valerie Wilson leading a class entitled “Paul’s Missionary Journeys.” It is held in the church Board Room.
Several classes are offered for all ages on Wednesdays, for Wonderful Word on Wednesday. The evening begins with family dinner in the Fellowship Hall at 5 p.m. Bible Study starts at 6:30 p.m.

Lead Me, Holy Spirit (Room 200, Sandra Prince)
