BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Bright House Networks has announced that it has made a donation to the Northeast YMCA to renovate an outdoor basketball court on its campus. The new court will be dedicated in a special ceremony at the facility at 628 Red Lane Road on December 12 at 11a.m.
In an effort to give back to the community, Bright House Networks began the YMCA renovation project in April of this year by surveying the area and finding that an outdoor basketball court would not only provide recreational enhancement to the community, but also an additional usable and fun asset for YMCA members and guests. The renovation project included weeding, sealing and restriping the court, as well as installing break-away goals to reduce the chance of future damage
