BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – AAA Alabama announced the opening of its new office in the Tannehill Promenade Shopping Center in Bessemer, just off I-459 at exit 1, between Publix and Target, on Monday, November 17th. The office will be open from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. until
2 p.m. on Saturdays.
Staffed with knowledgeable insurance agents and travel agents, this office serves AAA members and clients living and working in west Jefferson County and offers comprehensive services such as auto and home insurance, travel agency services and automotive services.

AAA has provided outstanding products and services for more than 100 years, and the addition of this office will allow us to better serve AAA members and clients,” said AAA Alabama Vice President and General Manager, Al Gibbs. “We’re also excited to be open on Saturdays from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m., which will greatly enhance the level of service we offer.”
AAA members and the public can use AAA Travel agency services at the Bessemer office to plan tours and cruises, book hotels and car rentals and obtain rail tickets and foreign currency. International travel services include passport, visa and customs information; low-cost passport photos; and International Driver’s Permits.
