J. J. Hairston & Youthful Praise is unparalleled in producing outstanding praise and worship anthems. They have come to be known as the choir that set the atmosphere for Sunday morning service. Having released six awesome titles, the stage is set for I See Victory (Light Records), their new live CD that will be in retail October 28th. Featuring an amazing selection of lively tracks, J. J. Adding to the excitement of this much anticipated release is the stellar lineup that have loaned their talent to this project. Featured guests include Donnie McClurklin, Karen Clark Sheard, Vashawn Mitchell, Jason Nelson, Deon Kipping, Greg Kirkland and Zebulon Ellis. They joined Hairston and Youthful Praise for a spirit filled concert at the First Cathedral in Bloomfield, Conn. where they recorded this collection.
I See Victory is comprised of 13 tracks. A deluxe version will be available on iTunes offering an additional five bonus songs. A lively tune of adoration, “Nothing Compares”, is the opener. “Bless Me” is wrapped with a mid tempo that’s laced with simple lyrics. It, along with “It Pushed Me’ are magnificent refrains that are rapidly climbing Billboard’s Gospel chart. “You’re Mighty” is highly inspiring – this is one for the warriors. “Awe Of You” is a beautiful anthem. The set closes just like it opens – on a high note – with “The Blood Still Works”. J. J. Hairston & Youthful Praise’s latest is their most dynamic collective to date. They continue to take Praise and Worship higher.
