HarbertBIRMINGHAM, Ala. — BL Harbert International, LLC has been awarded a design/build contract for the P-921 Unaccompanied Housing at Camp Lemonnier in Djibouti, Africa. The contract was issued by the U.S. Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) in the amount of $18.4M. This contract follows BL Harbert’s $150M contract award for the P-688 Forward Operating Base awarded in September 2013.
As the primary design subcontractor, Page, LLP will provide design and engineering services throughout the design-build contract, and will serve as the designer of record. The facility will consist of a three-story, 35,000-square-foot military housing structure with capacity for 260 persons.  The site is approximately four acres in size.
“We are honored to have been awarded another contract from NAVFAC to design and construct a high-quality and functional facility for our military personnel located at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti,” said BL Harbert International Group President Chuck Bohn.
