BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Holy Family Cristo Rey Catholic High School held its 2nd Annual Rey of Hope Dinner & Auction at The Club on Thursday, May 1. This year’s gala, sponsored by Regions Financial Corporation, welcomed approximately 290 guests with jazz music provided by Bourbon Sidecar. The evening featured a silent auction, live auction and the guests were flashed mobbed by 32 of Cristo Rey’s students dancing to Michael Jackson’s “Black or White”. Proceeds from the event went to support the Cristo Rey High School’s primary goal – to provide a quality, college-preparatory education to low-income students with limited educational opportunities in a Christian environment.
