Members of the Jefferson County Legislative Delegation Assisted with presentations
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Bright House Networks recently presented Kameron Hornbuckle of Center Point High, Breondra Flanagan of Huffman High, and Ifeoma Ifediba of John Carroll Catholic High Schools each with new Dell Laptops as 2014 Future Leaders Scholarship program winners. State Representative Oliver Robinson assisted Bright House Networks with the presentation at Huffman while he and State Representative Mary Moore were on hand for the presentation at Center Point. Bright House Networks Future Leaders is a technology scholarship program designed to recognize high school seniors in good standing in the Bright House Networks Birmingham metro service area for their contributions to their schools and local communities.
Scholarship recipients are evaluated on their community service activities, leadership skills and an essay describing the importance of leadership and community service. Student winners will be recognized at Senior Scholarship Awards programs at their respective high schools throughout the Bright House Networks service area.
