Naomi H. Truman, Esq., has over 18 years of progressive service as a housing administrator. She has provided executive-level leadership, planning and administration for the Housing Authority of the Birmingham District and now serves as Executive Director. She is the chief executive officer of the nonprofit affiliate, Magic City Housing Development Corporation. Ms. Truman is also licensed as an attorney in Alabama and Michigan. She is an undergraduate, with distinction, and holds a Juris Doctorate from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Ms. Truman is a graduate of Project Corporate Leadership and Leadership Birmingham. She energized the vision and leadership for the HABD Section 3 Economic Empowerment Summit and the HABD Scholarship Fund that supports educational opportunities for people of the community and assisted housing. Ms. Naomi H. Truman, demonstrates professionalism and conscientiousness in her approach to service to the community. She has a vision to excel in all that is attainable with goals. Ms. Truman is affiliated with Metropolitan A.M.E. Zion Church. She has one daughter, Komeh, artist, designer and business owner.
