The Woodruffs Celebrated 30 Year Anniversary

Larry B. and Angeline Clark Woodruff celebrated 30 years of marriage on March 2, 2014 in Atlanta, Ga. and Birmingham, Ala. 

 
The couple has been committed to loving, honoring and cherishing each other from the beginning. They are the proud parents of Larry James Woodruff, Dana Clark “Lady Woo” Woodruff and Justin Phillip Woodruff and thankful grandparents of Mason Alexander, Carmen Sumone, Ja’Khari Deon and Eli James.
Pastor Woodruff is an ordained minister, who has served in the pastorate for 35 years and currently serves as Senior Pastor and founder of Holy Light Church of Birmingham. He is a retired trainman from U. S. Steel/Fairfield Southern Company. Larry takes pride in his African Heritage and has served as a missionary in Kenya. He is a charter member of the Amirisho Kabila (tribe) of Nasiha Roho Adinasi Fraternity, Inc., at Miles College and an active member of the Birmingham Baptist Minister’s Conference.
Mrs. Woodruff has worked as a Social Worker for over 25 years and presently enjoys working as Case Manager at the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America, Central AL Chapter. She is a dedicated member of the Mt. Pilgrim Baptist District Association Ministers’ Wives and Widows Auxiliary and the Alabama Association of Ministers’ Wives and Ministers’ Widows, Inc. (Interdenominational).
Larry and Ange are products of the Birmingham Public School System, Western-Olin High School and Glenn High School respectively, and are both graduates of Miles College and active with the Alumni Association. Pastor Woodruff received his ministerial training and degrees from Birmingham-Easonian Baptist Bible College.
The couple is passionate about honoring and serving God together through preaching, teaching and ministering in music, building up families, discipling the unsaved to Christ and encouraging and helping people from all walks of life. Pastor and Mrs. Woodruff have received numerous faith, civic and professional awards and recognitions. The Woodruffs live happily in Birmingham and enjoy being together and spending quality time with family and traveling.
