The chart topping recording group Parmalee has made quite a pleasing impression on Country music fans and critics. With the release of their debut title, Feels Like Carolina, they have proven that they know how to produce some mighty good tunes. It is outstanding!
Parmalee has a sound genus that exceptional. The guitar riffs and percussion on most tracks are definitely rock tinged while the lyrics and melodies are pure Country. At any rate whatever it may be called – it is certainly fantastic music.
The selections on Feels Like Carolina are excellent as Craig Wiseman, Kyle Jacobs, Bobby Pinson, Jason Sever, Rachel Thibodeau and others are featured writers on this project. The collection which includes 12 offerings are a mixture of ballads and lively singles. “Musta Had A Good Time” is the album opener. It is a rousing tune with a jumping beat. “Day Drinkin’” is its follow-up. This is also another incredible song with some catchy stanzas. “Carolina” is beautiful all around – the melody and emotional lyrics are in perfect sync. “Dance” is for the bad girls – and boys too! Parmalee’s latest is an ultimate collective of 2014. Look forward to hear more from this marvelous group.
Brothers Matt and Scott Thomas, along with their cousin Barry Knox, and best friend Josh McSwain make up the members of Parmalee. Their name is a derivative of the small town they grew up in – Parmele, N.C.
Carolina and Musta Had A Good Time did remarkably on Sirius XM The Highway’s Hot 30 Live and numerous charts. Parmalee is a group of guys having fun making music.
