The 10-year-old, Fultondale Elementary student Coreyé Agee has made her family and friends proud once again. Coreyé Agee competed in her very first pageant on February 9. She competed in the 2014 Miss Pre – Teen Birmingham Pageant where she was judged on her personality, interviewing skills, modeling techniques, which included casual wear, and formal wear. The young sensation owned the stage as if she had been competing for years with a smile almost as big as her heart.
There were so many amazing girls but this petite diva was determined to let her own light shine.
During the competition, Coreyé was given two questions by the Emcee. The first question asked was, “If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?” Her response was,” I would go to Florida so I could represent my city and state in the National Miss Pre-Teen Competition. The second question asked was, “If you could relive one day, what day would it be and why? Her response, “I would want to relive Sunday so I could praise the Lord and thank Him for one more day.” This 10-year-old’s blessing blew the crowd away, and it showed through their applause. After the judges deliberated, Coreye’ was announced 1st runner up in her division.
Coreyé’s parents, two brothers, two sisters and her gang of family members, and friends are extremely proud of her.
Coreyé started this journey because she wants to gain modeling and acting experience. She states her future goals are to become a successful Pediatrician.
