The Stillman College Choir will present its annual Christmas Concert on December 8th, 6 p.m., in Birthright Alumni Hall on the college campus. Highlights will include beautiful holiday selections such as O Holy Night and What Child is This. The choir will also perform the gospel favorite Glorious is the Name of Jesus, as well as Johann Sebastian Bach’s “Magnificat,” which was first composed for Christmas in 1723. The Latin text is the canticle of Mary, the mother of Jesus, as told in the Gospel of Luke 1:46-55. For more information, contact bthompson@stillman.edu. The cost is $5.
