BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — In the spirit of the Christmas season, the first annual Rey of Hope Christmas Run presented by Shaia’s, will take place on Sunday, Dec. 22 at 2 p.m. at Cahaba Brewing Co., 2616 Third Ave. South.
The 5K run benefits the students of Holy Family Cristo Rey Catholic High School in Ensley by raising money for the “nutrition fund” to provide lunches for students who cannot afford them. For a $20 donation, run participants will receive a T-shirt, a delicious small batch Cahaba brew and a chance to win fabulous raffle prizes. Cantina food truck will be serving meals during the event.
