This week’s Cash For Crooks Div. of Refuge In (RITT) Trouble Times spotlights the murder of Rodrechus D. Johnson, age 20, on November 22, 2003 in the Powderly area in the 1800 Block of Maple Avenue Southwest. As Rodrechus drove up for a party, while parking shots rang out, hitting him in the head; Rodrechus went to sleep on the spot. For 10 years now no one has said a word, nor has any arrest been made. There is still a reward available for your information leading to an arrest/conviction of the person or persons responsible. This Saturday, November 16, 2013, in honor of all the victims who have lost their lives to violence, Parents (PAV) Against Violence (his mom, Carolyn Johnson, founder) will be hosting its 10th banquet dinner at the Boutwell Auditorum from 1p.m. to 3p.m. Donation is $20. Please attend to show your support to those who have traveled on. RITT is working with local and state wide police/community heads in hope someone will remember something about these cases. Please call 205-254-7777 or Text: CRIMES7777 from your cellphone. No one needs to know your name. NO NICK NAMES PLEASE.
