Last month the lives of two young men suddenly came to an end. One was 29 years old and had a flourishing career in acting. It is reported that Lee Thompson Young committed suicide in spite of the fact that he was very attractive, currently starring on a successful television series and on the surface appeared to have it all together. The second was a 16 year old high school football player that broke his neck during a routine play at football practice. DeAntre Turman was already being recruited by big colleges and it’s reported that he was offered a full scholarship by the University of Kentucky. No one could have predicted either of these deaths and for a long time no one will understand why they happened.
”But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. John 4:23
Since you have your breath and at this moment the gift of life, why not spend it worshipping God. Tomorrow isn’t promised and in spite of your plans, you aren’t guaranteed to carry them out. Don’t waste another minute wondering if you should trust God with your life, make the decision to give it to Him today. If you already have but aren’t enjoying the benefits of Him being your Lord and Savior, it’s collection time. Take advantage of the peace, joy, love, grace, mercy and favor of the Lord and ENJOY YOUR LIFE!
What happens to a dream deferred?
Does it dry up
Like a raisin in the sun?
Or fester like a sore – And then run?
